eTech Develops Check Management Program for Convenience Stores (June 2008)
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, June 2008 - - eTech Transactions Solutions Inc., announced the development of a new check processing program specifically designed for the gas station/convenience store market. This new programs incorporates check verification, electronic deposit and advanced funds recovery in a manner that makes accepting checks more economical than accepting credit cards.
Through its relationship with Diversified Check Solutions, L.L.C., eTech has integrated its eZVerification and eZCheckNet service with DCS' ACHeck21 electronic deposit system. Under the program a merchant can operate low cost equipment at each of its customer sites that will facilitate the verification of the check, convert the check into an electronic image and generate a transmission to the ACHeck21 Gateway service for electronic deposit. Any returned checks are automatically forwarded to eTech for its eZCheckNet funds recovery.
